7. Cookies
Cookies help to make visiting the bot4talk.com website easier, more enjoyable and more useful. These are information files that are automatically stored by the web browser on the computer's hard drive when the customer visits the bot4talk.com website and uses services. The customer has the option of managing the security settings of their browser and thereby blocking or disabling cookies. However, this may mean that certain bot4talk.com services can no longer be fully used.
Tracking and analysis tools / social media: Various technical systems are used to measure and evaluate the use of the digital offerings of bot4talk.com, which mainly come from third-party providers such as Google Analytics. These measurements can be carried out anonymously or on a personal basis. It is possible that the data collected by bot4talk.com or the third-party providers of such technical systems may be passed on to third parties in Germany and abroad. The best known and most frequently used analysis tool is Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. The data collected may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States or any other location designated by Google. The bot4talk.com website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address, which will be anonymised by Google prior to its storage) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States or other locations as determined by Google. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for bot4talk.com and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. The bot4talk.com website also uses the ‘demographic features’ of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender and interests of customers. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. They cannot be assigned to a specific person. Customers can disable this feature through the ad settings in their Google account or generally prohibit the collection of their data by Google Analytics. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy. If the customer does not want his website activity to be recorded by Google Analytics, he can install the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. This prevents activity data from being shared with Google Analytics via the JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) executed on websites. Using the add-on does not affect the analysis of data by other tools of the website operator. Data may still be sent to the website or other web analysis services. Finally, bot4talk.com collects certain information in server log files through its website, which are automatically transmitted by the customer's internet browser. This information includes the user agent (browser type and version, operating system used), HTTP header data (referrer URL, IP address of the accessing computer), time of server request and login status. These server log files are used only for error analysis together with other data sources.
Data collection and analysis for advertising purposes The provider's website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. Google Inc., based at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’), is the provider. The feature makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created by Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This allows interest-based, personalised advertising messages, which have been adapted based on the customer's previous usage and surfing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone), to also be displayed on another device (e.g. tablet or PC). If the customer has given Google the appropriate consent, Google links the web and app browsing history to the customer's Google Account. This allows the same personalised advertising messages to be displayed on any device where the customer signs in with their Google Account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects authenticated IDs of users that are temporarily linked to bot4talk.com data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising. The customer can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing by disabling personalised advertising in their Google Account. Here is the link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/ Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ The bot4talk.com website also uses the online advertising programme Google AdWords. Google Inc., based at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, is the provider. As part of Google AdWords, bot4talk.com uses a tool called Conversion Tracking. When the customer clicks on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is placed for Conversion Tracking. These small text files are stored by the Internet browser on the customer's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days at the latest and are not used for identification. If the customer visits our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and bot4talk.com can see that the customer clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. bot4talk.com only receives from Google the total number of users who clicked on its ad and were redirected to its website, which is tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, bot4talk.com does not receive any information that would enable it to personally identify the customers. The customer can prevent the storage of cookies by setting his browser software accordingly. However, bot4talk.com would like to point out that in this case not all functions of this website may be fully usable. The customer also has the option of preventing tracking by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via the user settings of his Internet browser. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/. The bot4talk.com website also uses the Facebook visitor action pixel. The provider is Facebook Inc. with registered office at 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The Facebook pixel makes it possible to track the behaviour of visitors to the site after they have been redirected to the bot4talk.com website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising efforts to be optimised. The data collected is anonymous to bot4talk.com. bot4talk.com cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the customer. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile can be established. Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy and to enable the placement of adverts on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. bot4talk.com has no influence over how the data is used. The customer can permanently opt out of remarketing by deactivating the remarketing function ‘Custom Audiences’ in the ad settings at the following link, provided that the customer is logged into Facebook: https://www.facebook. com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen If the customer does not have a Facebook account, they can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website at the following link:
http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/ Further information can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Integration of third-party offers / social media The digital offers of our bot4talk.com are networked in a variety of ways with third-party functions and systems. In particular, we integrate plug-ins from social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. If you, as a customer, have a user account with these third parties, it is possible that they too can measure and evaluate the use of our digital offers. In the process, further personal data, such as your IP address, browser settings and other parameters, may be transmitted to these third parties and stored there. We therefore accept no responsibility or liability for the use of such data by third parties. Our website also features integrated YouTube plugins. To prevent this, please log out of your YouTube account. For more information, please refer to the YouTube privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

As you are aware, data transfers to foreign countries involve certain risks, especially with regard to data protection and data integrity. However, Google has taken extensive security precautions to ensure that our customers' personal information is adequately protected. For more detailed information about Google's handling of personal information and data transfer to the United States, please refer to Google's privacy policy.
